SHIPPING POLICY [Purchase Policy]

ARTICLE 6 – Delivery of Products

6.1 General Information

The Products offered for sale on the Site are deliverable to the following territories:

  • Metropolitan France and the French overseas departments and territories;
  • The countries of the European Union;
  • Principality of Monaco, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Delivery of the Products is possible in all other countries but will require prior cost request from Pérouse Paris to the carrier.

The Products are shipped and delivered to the delivery address provided by the Customer when placing the Order.

The Customer agrees to accept delivery of the ordered Products. Pérouse Paris cannot be held responsible for a return delivery due to an incorrect address or an inability to deliver to the address provided.

The provisions of this article apply exclusively to Products ordered via the Website. Products purchased in-store are delivered directly to the point of sale.

6.2 Delivery Charges

For deliveries in mainland France and in European Union countries, prices are indicated in euros including all taxes.

For deliveries to French overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM) and outside the European Union, prices are quoted in euros excluding VAT. For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, the Principality of Monaco, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, Pérouse Paris will contact the customer beforehand to inform them of the associated delivery costs.

Customs or import duties levied upon arrival of the package are not included in the stated delivery charges and remain the responsibility of the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to inquire with the relevant authorities in their country.

6.3 Delivery methods

For all Products, the Order is prepared for dispatch from the Store as soon as possible after confirmation of the Order by email.

The delivery times indicated on the Website are purely indicative and depend on the destination and availability of the Products. The Customer will be informed of any delivery delays. Exceeding this delivery timeframe does not entitle the Customer to cancel the Order, receive a price reduction, or claim damages.

If products are available for delivery on different dates, the delivery time will be based on the longest estimated delivery time. Pérouse Paris reserves the right to split deliveries. Shipping and handling fees will only be charged once.

In accordance with Article L121-20-3 of the French Consumer Code, if delivery is not made within thirty days from the day after the Customer placed their Order, the Customer may cancel their Order free of charge. Any sums paid will be refunded.

In such circumstances, Pérouse Paris reserves the right to offer a Product of equivalent quality and price to the original Product.

Pérouse Paris cannot, however, be held responsible for additional delays caused by the non-issuance of a bank authorization or an incomplete Purchase Order.

6.4 Product Receipt and Claims

The Customer assumes the risks of loss, theft or damage to the Products ordered from the moment of their delivery to the address indicated or their handover to a third party designated by him, other than the carrier.

On the other hand, when the Customer entrusts the delivery of the Products to a carrier other than the one proposed by Pérouse Paris, the risk of loss, theft or damage to the Products is transferred to the Customer upon handing over the goods to the carrier.

Pérouse Paris strongly recommends that the Customer check the conformity of the Products at the time of delivery and indicate, if possible on the delivery note, in the form of handwritten reservations accompanied by their signature, any anomalies observed (open package, damaged product etc.).

If in doubt, the Customer is advised to open the package in the presence of the carrier to ensure that the Product is undamaged. Otherwise, the Customer will not be able to make any claim to Pérouse Paris.

In the event of anomalies or damage occurring during the transport of the ordered Products, the Customer has the following rights:

  • a period of 48 hours from Delivery to send a declaration of reservation to the carrier by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt;
  • within 3 days from Delivery to make a duly justified protest accompanied by a copy of the letter addressed to the carrier, to the following address: SAS Pérouse Paris, 34 rue Feydeau, Paris 75002.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

ARTICLE 7 – Customer's Right of Withdrawal

7.1 Limitation of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made in-store, unless expressly stated otherwise by Pérouse Paris. The following provisions apply only to sales made remotely via the Website.

In accordance with the provisions of Article L221-28, 3° of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized products made or custom-made according to the Customer's specifications.

7.2 Notification

In accordance with current legislation, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days to exercise his right of withdrawal from a purchase made on the Site, without having to justify reasons or pay any penalty, with the exception, where applicable, of return costs.

The withdrawal period begins on the date of receipt of the Product or the last Product ordered when the Order includes several Products delivered separately in a single order. Beyond this period, Pérouse Paris reserves the right to refuse the right of withdrawal.

To exercise their right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify Pérouse Paris Customer Service by sending an email to the following address: contact@perouse.paris with an unambiguous statement expressly specifying whether the Customer wishes to proceed with an exchange or a refund of the Order.

Pérouse Paris will send the Client an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal by email without delay.

7.3 Product Returns

With the exception of custom-made or made-to-measure products which cannot be returned, the Customer returns the product(s) by registered mail or tracked parcel within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days following notification of their wish to withdraw.

Any product to be exchanged or refunded must be returned in its original packaging and condition, to the Customer Service postal address: SAS Pérouse Paris, 34 rue Feydeau, Paris 75002.

The cost of returning the Product(s) is/are the responsibility of the Customer.

Products returned incomplete, damaged, used or soiled will not be accepted or refunded.

In accordance with the provisions of Article L221-23 of the Consumer Code, it is specified however that the Customer is not responsible in the event of depreciation of the Products resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of these Products.

7.4 Quality Control

All returned Products are subject to a Quality Control carried out by Pérouse Paris, in order to verify their conformity to the requirements in force.

If the returned Product meets quality control standards and has not been worn or used by the Customer, Pérouse Paris will proceed, as appropriate, with a refund or exchange.

7.5 Exchange

The exchange can be made for another Product of the same value and within the limits of available stock.

Provided that the Product is returned in perfect condition, the exchange will be processed within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from the date on which Pérouse Paris received the Product subject to the withdrawal.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

7.6 Reimbursement

In the context of the right of withdrawal following a purchase on the Site, Pérouse Paris will reimburse the Customer for the price of the Product(s) within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the date on which Pérouse Paris has received the returned Product and has been able to verify that the Product meets the Quality Control standards referred to in article 7.4.

The refund will be made using the payment method used for the initial transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees to the use of another payment method without charge.

If a virtual payment card was used, the refund will be made by check sent to the customer's billing address.

ARTICLE 8 – Resizing

8.1 Products purchased on the Site:

Resizing of jewelry, including rings, can be carried out both during and after the expiry of the fourteen (14) day withdrawal period.

Sizing discounts are also available for customers located outside the European Union. However, any additional costs related to customs formalities and import duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.

8.2 Products purchased in store:

Resizing may also be offered for products purchased in-store, subject to technical feasibility and according to the conditions specified at the point of sale. Any alteration will be subject to a prior quote provided to the customer.

ARTICLE 9 – Product Conformity and Guarantees

The Products sold benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for a period of two (2) years (article L217-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code) allowing the Customer to return the delivered Products which are defective or non-compliant.

Pérouse Paris guarantees the conformity of the Products within the framework of these legal guarantees. As such, Pérouse Paris guarantees free replacement or repair of defective Products without any other service or compensation.

These guarantees apply regardless of the method of purchase, whether on the Site or in Store.

These warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse or normal wear and tear from the use of the Products.

To benefit from these guarantees, the Customer must keep the purchase invoice for the Products and must make the Product available to Pérouse Paris.

Return shipping costs will be reimbursed upon presentation of proof of payment. Otherwise, the reimbursement will be made at the basic postal rate.

9.1 Guarantee of conformity

To be compliant with the Order, the Product must correspond to the description on the Site and possess the listed qualities or more broadly present the qualities that a customer can legitimately expect, in particular with regard to the Product sheet.

If this is not the case, the Customer must notify Pérouse Paris in writing of the defects found and return the Product in question to Pérouse Paris. If the non-conformity is confirmed, Pérouse Paris will exchange or repair the Product at cost, in accordance with Article L217-9 of the French Consumer Code.

9.2 Warranty against hidden defects

If the Customer believes that the Product suffers from a hidden defect—that is, a hidden flaw that existed prior to the sale and renders it unfit for its intended use, or that so diminishes its usability that the Customer would not have purchased it, or would have paid a lower price—the Customer may benefit from the warranty against hidden defects. The legal warranty covers all costs incurred due to hidden defects.

In such a case, the Customer must provide proof of the defect, which is not presumed. If the defect is proven, the Customer has two options: return the Product and receive a refund, or keep it and receive a partial refund under the conditions set out in Article 7.5 above.
