Cleaning jewelry
Your Pérouse jewelry lives at your pace. Each creation is precious, and it should be worn with the utmost care. We recommend an annual check-up of your jewelry to ensure it remains in excellent condition for a lifetime.
On a daily basis, we advise you to remove your jewelry when using cosmetic or household products (these can damage your jewelry) but also when playing sports or at the beach to limit scratches.
For maintenance, we recommend cleaning it frequently with a soft cloth to remove any impurities or dust. Similarly, you can clean the diamonds using soapy water and a very soft-bristled toothbrush to remove impurities without damaging the setting.
Gold and other metals are precious yet delicate, and over time, it's normal for your jewelry to develop slight scratches. At Pérouse, we see this as a piece of jewelry that will accompany you every day, rather than an imperfection. Each piece has its own story, with a unique charm that develops over time.

Stone maintenance
- Diamond: Diamond is a hard stone that can be worn every day. To clean it, it is recommended to use warm soapy water before drying it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Tourmaline: Tourmaline is a robust stone. However, it should not be subjected to sudden temperature changes when worn. If you have any doubts or need cleaning, please feel free to make an appointment at the store.
- Sapphire: Sapphire jewelry should be handled with care to avoid scratches. For cleaning, we would be delighted to welcome you to our boutique.
- Emerald: Emeralds are sensitive to impacts and to cosmetic or household products that tend to damage them. For cleaning, we would be delighted to welcome you to our boutique.
